Welcome to E. A. R. Ranch!
Welcome to our own little ranch on the web! I hope you enjoy looking around at our home and horses. Now located south of Kansas City, KS my husband and I both come from a horse background. I showed horses in Western Pleasure, English, Halter, Showmanship, and Speed events back home in Florida. My husband is a true cowboy; working cattle in a feed lot and doctoring them on a ranch in Kansas. We met in college and married in 2004. We now have two children, Hunter, age 5 (making his debut at local shows in leadline in 2010) and Lily, age 2. We have been at our current location for 3 years now. Although we have done a lot to improve the ranch, there is always things that need to get done! We hope you will come back by and see the improvements as we document them and share them with you!
We currently stand 2 stallions here at E. A. R. Ranch. The first is JUSTIFIABLY JESTER. He is our 1990 APHA Bay/Overo stallion topping out at a large 16.3 hands. Our other stallion is PLAYBOY IN GOLD. He is our 1998 AQHA/FQHA (91.8%) Palomino Stallion coming in at 14.3 hands. Both our boys are horses you can just throw a halter and lead rope on and go. They have been raised right and their manners alone sells them. When you add in the color and talent then they are priceless. I have yet to see a foal out of either of these stallions that did not have the same quiet, easy to handle manner that they do. You can find out more about each of them on our stallion pages!
